Digging is one of the most important aspects of being an adventurer. When choosing a dig site always look for some archaeological landmarks. Digging near an ancient temple is always a good idea for obvious reasons. Digging in a troll pit, on the other hand, can be a health hazard and should be avoided unless "being eaten" is on your to-do list. On top of that, the fumes emitted from a troll pit are corrosive and usually melt both your shovel and your brain. For information on how to protect your brain when in troll pits, please refer to Adventuring for Dummies, Part Three.
