The Battle Rage skill does exactly what it describes: like a mad barbarian would seize upon a poorly protected convent, you launch yourself into the fray, heeding not the danger it leaves you in. Most likely any clear and present danger will soon be eliminated, but do remember that this rage detracts from your defensive prowess for its duration.
skill description

Battle Rage is a Warrior skill that can be used by the Dragon Knight in Divinity II: Dragon Knight Saga.

Description[]

Battle Rage is a active Warrior skill that allows the Knight to greatly boost their damage at the cost of their armour. This skill can be cast with any weapon in hand.

Note: This skill will never drop your melee resistance below 0%. Melee armor penalty values are not subtracted directly to damage reduction. A higher armor value on your character sheet will yield a smaller penalty to your overall melee armor. For example, with 57.56% unbuffed melee resistance the -33 armor penalty reduces the character to 47.33% melee damage reduction; this is a reduction of 10.23%. With 37.35% unbuffed melee resistance the -33 armor penalty reduces the player to 12.18%; a reduction of 25.17%.

Battle Rage be canceled at any time, the cooldown starts after the duration ends or after Battle Rage is manually turned off.

The following are mutually exclusive, only one can be active: Way of the Battle Mage, Way of the Wise Wizard, Way of the Ranger, Battle Rage, Defensive Posture.
