Constitution is a core attribute that determines a character's health. In earlier games in the series, Constitution also defined the character's Stamina, however in the more recent iterations this attribute has been depreciated.

Divine Divinity[]

Constitution determines you Vitality and your Stamina.
In-game description
Points Description
1-24 You get severely puffed walking slowly up several flights of stairs. You really should try to keep yourself a bit more fil. At this rate, you'll die of a heart-attack before you're thirty.
25-49 You're pretty unfit and over-react to the slightest hurt. However strong or dexterous you may be, your weak constitution undermines you efficacy as fighter.
50-74 You are of average human fitness. You can tough it out in rought play, but don't trust your constitution to get you by under all circumstances.
75-100 Your body is a hard, well-functioning mechanism. You rarely get sick and cuts that would lay other people out go almost unnoticed by you.
100 and more Your body is made of oak. You've never had a day's sickness and pain means nothing to you.

Constitution affects Vitality and Stamina. Stamina has constant modifier of 300/constitution point, but Vitality changes according to class. All classes start with 10 constitution. Constitution is a main attribute, so it can be affected by the normal leveling progress. It can also be increased by Charms, Bless, and various Prefixes and Suffixes from gear.
