An enchanter is a person that can enchant weapons, armour, and jewelry with magical auras and buffs.
Enchanters[]
The following people are enchanters:
- Dreavan – Broken Valley
- Radcliff – Battle Tower, speciality is weapon enchantments
- Wesson – Battle Tower, speciality is armour enchantments
- Bedwyr – Phoenix Inn (Aleroth), during the events of Divinity II: Flames of Vengeance only
Enchantment Information[]
You must talk to your enchanter while you have the formula you want them to learn. The formula then disappears from your inventory, and your enchanter learns that enchantment. (Example: I have Butcher 5 formula and talk to my enchanter. He learns Butcher 5. The Formula disappears.) If your enchanter already knows the spell, you will keep the formula in your inventory.
- Most items have between zero and three enchantment slots.
- Enchantments require gems and/or ores.
- The number of ingredients you need can be decreased by upgrading your Battle Tower platform, once you've acquired it.
- You can only do one enchantment of each type per item. (Example: If you have already enchanted some leggings with Increased Mana 1, you cannot add another Increased Mana enchantment to them.)
- Unlike using charms (which cannot be removed), items can be disenchanted and replaced with an upgraded version or entirely different enchantment.
