Skill description

Erratic Wisp is a Aerotheurge and Huntsman skill in Divinity: Original Sin II.

Description[]

Erratic Wisp Skill[]

Erratic Wisp is a mixed supportive skill that allows caster to enchant their target with Erratic Wisp Status Icon (DOS2) Erratic Wisp status effect. This enchantment lasts for 2 turns and causes target to teleport in a random direction each time they are damaged with physical attack from weapons. Avoiding damage through any means will negate the teleportation. Note that the Fortified (Original Sin 2) Fortified status effect does not negate the teleportation effect.

Additionaly the Erratic Wisp status effect increases Air Resistance Icon (Original Sin 2) Air Resistance by + 40 % for 2 turns.

Since Erratic Wisp relies on Aerotheurgy magic it cannot be cast if character is affected by Silenced (Original Sin 2) Silenced and Enraged (Original Sin 2) Enraged status effects.

Scroll and Skillbook[]

Erratic Wisp skillbook is a magical item that allows its reader to learn Erratic Wisp skill, if they have at least 1 point into both Aerotheurge and Huntsman abilities, and use it indefinitely. In order to be able to cast the skill, character needs 1 free memory slot. Note that the book will disappear once read. The book weights 0.5 and its base value is 190 gold. A skillbook can be crafted if a any non-source Aerotheurge and Huntsman skillbooks are combined. Since Erratic Wisp is a mixed skill, traders do not have the skillbook for sale.

Erratic Wisp is one of the few magic-based skills in the game that does not have a scroll.

Aerotheurge Icon (Original Sin 2) Skill Modifiers[]

Erratic Wisp is a supportive skill that provides clear set bonuses. As such these bonuses by themselves cannot be increased, however they can stack with other items, skills or talents that provide them. Since the AP cost to cast this skill is always 1 AP it cannot be lowered by any means.

The only way to improve this skill is to increase its range through skills or talents.
