Madam Eve's Charter is a book in Divinity II: Flames of Vengeance written by Madam Eve.

Found while exploring Madame Eve's in Aleroth

I should ask a Mage for a protective shield. Bellegar has been randomly appearing and disappearing throughout the house, and insulting our customers with those insipid rhymes of his. One of my girls actually quit because of his poetic prattle. Her letter of resignation included this:

"Discourage your acts I shall not
For ethics and morality are but naught
To men and women so biologically inclined
To pay for playful deeds so freely designed.
But think a second or two about the following
And take a hint worth swallowing:
Degrading and degenerating are words still kind
For the girl who lay all day on her naked behind."

None of the girls want to have anything to do with Heleon anymore. They all suspect he's faking it, and it's eating away what little self-confidence they still possess.

Aulus and Minius insist on being served in one room, at the same time. Sometimes they don't even ask for a girl! I have no idea what they do in there, but I should probably charge them more whenever they do because I miss out on the profits I would otherwise have made from their lady.

Charlotte has requested another pseudonym. She doesn't like to be called Charlotte the Harlot by the customers. I actually quite like the creativity behind such silly little rhymes, and I was even planning on advertising her that way. If she's a keeper, she should understand this business is all about show and what the clientele wants.

Room Two reportedly has a mouse infestation. Felix the house cat will be delighted to take care of that. It will also assuredly put an end to the amusing, yet predictable, puns involving synonyms for our feline friends.

Since the war has broken out, Nathirap and Eareb have been visiting on an almost daily basis. I have no idea how we can be of service to them. I have tried reasoning with them, but it's as if they don't even know what I'm talking about. If this war, whatever the outcome, means that we'll have a multiracial community, I'll have to investigate how I can appease their appetite. I shouldn't stop at goblins.

  • "Felix the house cat" is a reference to the cartoon character Felix the Cat.
