Icon of Necromancer combat ability in Divinity: Original Sin II

Necromancer is a combat ability, utilising magic known as necromancy and is essential for memorising and casting necromancer spells in Divinity: Original Sin II.

Description[]

Necromancer is a combat ability focused on dealing Physical or Piercing damage and restoring the user's health by causing damage. This combat ability will allow caster to heal themselves whenever they deal damage directly to their enemies health.

Note: This combat ability DOES NOT increase damage done with necromantic spells. It only increases the amount of health gained by it as well as allowing caster to learn more advanced forms of necromancy.

Bonuses Per Point Invested

Traders[]

Following table shows all NPCs who are guaranteed to sell necromancer spellbooks, with their location and coordinates in the right column, from them. The location shown in the table (and the coordinates) are only for the initial location the NPC is in. Note that some of these may have other spell/skillbooks and goods to sell. Out of these only Tarquin is guaranteed to follow the Godwoken as they travel with Lady Vengeance. Jahan may join the Godwoken on the ship as well if his demands are met.

Craftable[]

Following spells can only be acquired by crafting. This is achieved by combining 1 Necromancer spellbook with 1 elemental book of choice. Resulting spellbook will require atleast 1 point in corresponding combat ability in order to be learnt. If there is atleast 1 source spellbook used in crafting, the resulting spellbook will also utilise source.

Base[]

Base skillbooks are obtained whenever non-source Necromancer skillbook is combined with another non-source skillbook. Resulting skillbook will be a mix of both skillbooks and will require investment in both combat abilities under which the skillbooks belong. Example: In order to learn and cast Raining Blood, character needs 1 point in both Necromancer and Hydrosophist combat abilities.

Like base craftable skillbooks these also cannot be bought from traders in game.
