Rory is a guard found outside of the quarry in southern part of Broken Valley .
Background
A quarry guard, he involved in the prevention of Black Ring entry into the mine, by way of destroying the entrance. Upon attempting to enter the gate he will plead with the player to stay back as they are blowing up the entrance to the mine to stop the Black Ring . When the Black Ring show up he warns the player not to enter before fleeing.
Interactions with the player character
Rory will plead with the Dragon Knight firstly not to approach the quarry as they are about to blow up the entrance. He will then ask one final time after the entrance has been blown and the Ring has gained entry to the mine camp before fleeing.
